Susanna Mehitable Rogers Sangiovanni Keate (1813-1905) was born 5 Jul. 1813 in Montreal, Lower Canada, British North America . She was the daughter of David W. Rogers and Martha Collin. She married Benedetto Sangiovani on 5 Nov. 1833 in New York City, New York Co., New York, and they had one child; separated about 1841. She married James Keate about 1856. She was baptized under the direction of Wilford Woodruff on 7 Feb. 1841 in London, Middlesex, England. She often met and exchanged letters with Wilford Woodruff from 1840 through 1845. She died 9 Jan. 1905 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah.
