Thomas Oakey

Thomas Oakey (Oakley) (1813-1890) was born 23 Sep. 1813 in Eldersfield, Worcestershire, England. He was the son of Thomas Oakey and Sarah Pritchard. He married Ann Collett on 3 Sep. 1838 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England. He was baptized by Wilford Woodruff on 5 Apr. 1840. He baptized others under the direction of Wilford Woodruff in 1840 and 1841 in England, and he was ordained a Patriarch by Wilford Woodruff in Aug. 1889. He died 15 Apr. 1890 in Paris, Bear Lake Co., Idaho.
