Valentine Merrill
Valentine Merrill (1811-1875) was born 8 May 1811 in Southold, Suffolk Co., New York. He was the son of Valentine Merrill and Lydia Sisson. He married Fanny Bouton on 18 Sep. 1831 in Norwalk, Fairfield Co., Connecticut. He was baptized 6 Jul. 1856. He hosted and fished with Wilford Woodruff on 18 Oct. 1848, and allowed Wilford to preach in his home on 19 Oct. 1848 in Norwalk. He died 12 Jan. 1875 in Norwalk.
