William Beard

William Beard (1798–1862) was born 1 Jan. 1798 in Malvern, Worcestershire, England. He was the son of Thomas Beard and Alice Hales Powell. He married Anne Freeman on 12 Oct. 1824 in Whitbourne, Herefordshire, England; widowed in 1853. He married Mary Matilda Holt on 27 Aug. 1854 in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. He was baptized 26 Apr. 1840 by Wilford Woodruff. He died 12 Feb. 1862 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
