William Dawson
William Dawson (Dowson) (1813-abt. 1892) was born 17 Apr. 1813 and christened in Alston, Cumberland, England. He was the son of John Dowson and Frances Russel. He married Margaret Wardlaw on 3 Feb. 1837 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; widowed 14 Apr. 1855. He married Hannah Jarvis 29 Jun. 1861 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about Jun. 1836. He and his first wife were involved in a Church council that Wilford Woodruff attended on 6 Apr. 1839. He died about 1892.
