William Henry Seward

William Henry Seward (1801-1872) was born 16 May 1801 in Florida, Orange Co., New York. He was the son of Samuel S. Seward and Mary Jennings. He married Francis Adeline Miller on 20 Oct. 1824. He died 10 Oct. 1872 in Auburn, Cayuga Co., New York. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
