William Smith Muir

William Smith Muir (1822-1896) was born 19 Jul. 1822 in Bannockburn, Stirlingshire, Scotland. He was the son of Stephen Muir and Elizabeth Blackwood. He married Jane Stewart Robb on 1 Jan. 1844 in Banncockburn; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 17 Jan. 1842. He was voted to go on a mission at an Apr. 1855 conference that Wilford Woodruff attended. He died 27 Nov. 1896 in Woods Cross, Davis Co., Utah Territory.
