William Williams

William Williams (1731-1811) was born 8 Apr. 1731 in Lebanon, New London Co., Connecticut, British Colonial America. He was the son of Solomon Williams and Mary Porter. He married Mary Trumbull on 14 Feb. 1771 in Lebanon. He died 2 Aug. 1811 in Lebanon. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
