8 We travled to Louisville Henry County Ia we here again found Br Thomas & family & Brother Townsend &
family stoped to winter Brother Townsend was sick we stoped & spent about 2 hours with them & prayed with them
& took the parting hand & continued our Journey to Knightstown and spent the night 17

8th We travled to Louisville Henry County Ia. here we again found Brother Nathaniel Thomas & family & Brother James Tow- nsend & family stoped for winter Broth Townsend was sick we stoped & spent about 2 hours with them & prayed with them & took the parting hand & continued our journey to knightstown & spent the night with Mr Griffiths Distance 17 miles & a vary cold winters day Phebe is still feble may the Lord strengthen ^her^
