February 24, 1841 ~ Wednesday

Feb 24th I felt able to walke into the city I
purchased a Thermometer, 4/6 A Pocket compass
3/6 2 Brass Boxes 1/5 one doz steel pens & cases 1/

I packed them into a parsel, with 100 add
resses to the citizens of London, 6 Hymn Books
all my corresponding letters & papers, & sent
them to 149 Oldham Road Manchester in care
of P P Pratt. I Also sent Elder Brigham Young
new watch in the same way to the same place
All in the Hands of Brother Hume I wrote
[FIGURE] P P Pratt a letter upon the same subject
