July 30, 1844 ~ Tuesday

30th We arived at the Macinnau stoped awile &
got some fish took some indians in tow and went along
their is a spirit manifesting itself through
the boat of prejudice against us because we do not
mingle with them in their nonsens and folly our
spirits are not congeniel and they wish to speak
evil of us while we walk uprightly this spirit is
manifest more or less throughout the gentile world
