Autobiography Volume 2 circa 1865
I left Nauvoo on the and crossed the Missisippi with my wagons and family and camped about one mile from Montrose where also Orson Hyde was camped. I was very weary with the continued and unceasing exertions which I had for months been making both before and after my return to Nauvoo to follow with my family the body of the Church to find a new home.
