September 17, 1846 ~ Thursday

17th Arose quit unwell in the morning I rode
with councillors B. Young H. C. Kimball &
A. Cutler to the river bottom whare they are
cutting hay, we found good land for farming
purposes. I was quite unwell most of the day.
I attended [blank] 12 miles
