Elder Wilford Woodruff Spoke of the
first settlement of Utah, that it was a desert,
the country is now full, and we have not
got room. Zion has got to lengthen her
cords, it matters not where we are we are
all on missions. [Isaiah 54:2] It is our calling to build up
the Kingdom of God. Spoke of the Lords
dealings with the children of men.
The evil spirits are ever busy trying to
destroy the Kingdom of God, but the Church
has grown from the time of its organoization
to the present, it has never gone backwards,
and there is no power to stay the hand of
the Lord, all his purposes will be fulfilled.
Spoke of the travels and labors of the
twelve in carr[y]ing this gospel to the
nations of the earth. Reefered to our
duties in settling this country, in building
up temples and redeeming our dead.
Said we should live close to the law
of God, be prayerful in all our labors
over our fields and families &c.
Spoke of the judgments that is about
to come upon the nations of the earth,
as they sow so will they reap and the
harvest is at their doors. [Galatians 6:7]
