I wrote 2 letter to John Morgan & M F Cowley and told
Br Cowley to stay in the vineyard as long as He wished. we
set apart 6 Missionaries W Woodruff was mouth with 3 & J F Smith
3. I spent the day Auditing I sowed pease in the Evening

Salt Lake City Dear Brother I received your vary interesting Letter, and I am thankful to learn that you are prospering so Well. I got a letter from Br Cowley at the same time and it was one of the most singular letters I Ever got from an Elder in the Vineyard, if He was was in the habit of getting angry you would almost think He was offended at me for interfering with his mission in releasing him on account of health He wants to be let alone, and untram- elled in his mission so he can finish it. He would not be satisfied at all to be called home on Account of Health so I have written to him to stay as long as he pleases and preach to the Gentiles and bring as Many into the kingdom as He can. To President Woodruff, Salt Lake City. Dear Brother, The enclosed Bill has just been received. I send it to you, and wish to learn if President Taylor and yourself desire to have payment made from Trustee in Trust's Office in Salt Lake City, or for this Office to make payment. President McAllister started from here on Friday 28th ult. for Panacca via Pine Valley, Pinto and Hebron. Will be back on Thursday 11th inst. Every going on nicely at the Temple Fair Companies. With Brotherly love to you and brethren I remain yours in the Gospel James G. Bleak.
