Letter to Emma Smith Woodruff, 2 July 1885
St. George Temple Dear Emma, Having a little leasure time this Morning in the Temple, I feel like writing a little to you. I got a letter from Clara the same day you left I have not heard a word from you since you left. I wrote to you all the company which letter I expect you would meet when you get there. I felt anxious to know how you got through I felt better about it when I learned that Wilford took his large waggon. I felt quite afraid of either buggy and then such dangerous Hills & streams if they were high. I have heard Nothing from Home sinc you left I wrote to Clara last night I have been making some preparation to try to return to S L C, to see if I could not do some business but from All accounts I got, I see there is no safety, they are aresting any Man they can find They arested Sears
