Dear Brother yours
of Jan 28th was received last evening also
the order in favour Laminite missionaries for $100
the Brethern have been gon for some time I
had words from them three day ago. at that
time they were in the vicinity of Quijotoa
a mineing district near the Mexcian line
They were doing well and in good visits. I
furnished them $69.45 in excess of the order for
which you will find Bro Tenneys voucher with
my anual report. two Horses cost $85.00
This morning I went to Lehi and got
my 1st Councellor Bro Henry C. Rogers we then
visited Brother Jesse P. Steel in regard to his
place he has one hundred and sixty (1460) acres
in his claim as near as we could estimate
three fourths (3/4) of it can be cultivated
forty (40) acres of it has been cultivated
he has on it one small adobie house
