Dear Brother
yours of the 11 ult to hand
i can say that i was a little
suppised to hear from you
in that respect but i respond
to the call willingly and
will do all in my power
to aid in the cause of
truth and render what assistan[ce]
i can to those that are placed
over me in regard to when
i prefer going i will aif
possible go with the April
company should any thing thehappen
the contrary in will
let you know
