Letter from Charles Ora Card, 29 May 1888
Prest. Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City Utah u. s. a. Dear Brother Your very interesting and newsy letter of the 4th inst. came to hand last evening and was perused with great interest. I was pleased to learn of the excellent state of your health and that of your colaborers. I was much gratified to learn of the improvement of Elder Erastus Snows health, for I had only recently learned of his critical condition. I can assure you that you all have the united faith and prayers of the Saints in this Locality. Since I last wrote you our numbers have been Augmented by the addition of 2 from Centerville Davis Co, one from Logan, three from Kaysville, and Sister Zina D. H. Young of your city here on a visit. Thus you will perceive we are "making haste slowly" which is the motto we have caried out since our arrival here about one year ago.
