Orson S Williams Mona Rec Feb 9 [18]89 Mona Feb 5th [18]89 President W. Woodruff, Dear Brother your favor of Jan 3rd came to hand contents noted you wished to know my feelings in regard to A call to take A Mission to Europe. I would gladly respond to it if my cir- cumstances would admit. I have some small Liabillites which I am not able to meet at present and next month I have to make final proof on my land or loose it, where and how I can raise the money to meet these demands, and assist me on A Mission I no not but hoping at some futre day to be able to respond to any call

Eagle Rock Prest. Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother, I take the liberty of writing you in regard to a matter which causes me considerable anxiety of mind, it is in regard to $14799 tithing for which I am held accountable, the true statement in regard to it is this. ^1st^ While I was Bishop of menan in the Bannock Stake, I with several others started a little cooperative store. I had charge of the store. I as Bishop handled the Butter, Eggs meat &c through the store, when I settled tithing in Rexburg there was $8024 in Mdse. in the store. This was in Jan. 1886, in March 1886 the store was closed by Z.C.M.I and the amt. as above was lost
