Saints & Sinners Mormons & Gentils & Apostates one
Minister Harvey H Cluff Prayed G. Q. Cannon
spoke 50 Minuts & W Woodruff 35 Minuts the power
of God
rested upon us and we spoke in Great plainness
We drove to spanish Fork stoped with Bishop George
D. Snell
we Met at 3 oclock G Q Cannon spoke 52 M[inutes]

Providence 1889. Pres. Wilford Woodruff. Dear Brother, Circumstances having changed since I wrote you last, I will drop you a few lines, before I answered I went to the Bishop of this ward and told him I could not raise the money without borrowing. he said the ward would provide, as has been the custom ever since mission aries have been called, but he has left the country and his councelors also. The acting councelor says he has no authority to collect the money, the only show I have is to

Elder Wm. H. Thompson, St. George. My dear Brother William: Your welcome favor of the 1st inst came duly to hand. I am much gratified with your kind expressions towards me, in memory of my 82nd birthday anniversary and the many pleasant and agreeable personal asso- ciations of the past. I appreciate the warm feelings of friendship you express on your own behalf and on that of your family, Brother and Sister Cottam, Brothers Samuel & Jos. Hardy, their wives, and also Brothers Pymm, Randall, McArthur and Atkin, and all my friends and the saints in the sunny and sandy south; and I reciprocate their love and friendship and from my heart I bless them and pray God my heavenly Father to pour out upon the in rich abundance every blessing, both temporal and spiritual, that they can desire or ask for in righteousness, as a reward for their integrity and faithfulness to the cause of Zion.
