October 25, 1889 ~ Friday

25th This morning we took a walk in the City. The
Ladies went shopping, we visited the Government
Buildings & museum. In the afternoon, in carriages
we drove through the Town, to the Park & govt. Dry Dock
and back, took dinner at 6. At 9 p.m. we went on
board the Steamer Islander, and took berths for the
night en route for Vancouver, City.
