Dear Brethren:
Your letter of 2nd inst. inclosing
Bro. Richd Morris' of 11th Dec 1889 duly received
In relation to Bro. Morris' expression that
the people are looking to him to lead out in
the matter of again getting the water into
the Washington Field, we find on enquiry,
that the Stockholders know nothing of any
such application as the one made to you,
and while they are willing to give Brother
Morris full credit for doing his own
part among them as a fellow laborer,
they have not chosen him as a leader,
to "lead out", nor as a representative of
their interests in that field.
While writing on this subject, it may be
