Letter from Angus Taylor Wright, 19 March 1890
Wairarapa. . President Wilford Woodruff and Counsel, Salt Lake City. My Dearly Beloved Brethren: your kind favor of February 3rd at hand, also others containing drafts as stated; allow me to thank you for your kindness in favorably responding to my request for a loan on the Book of Mormon account. Letter from George Teasdale, 19 March 1890
President W. Woodruff and Council, Dear Brethren: Again we are shocked to hear of the death of one of our brethren whilst on a mission. President Fjeldsted writes us that President John A Quist of the Goteborg Conference, and one of the best missionaries we had in the field, is dead. This is the third missionary that has died of late, over which no one could controle. Prest Brough, of the Irish mission, wrote me last-week that Bro. Chas. Criddle was very sick. We instructed him to bring him here. He came about a week ago dangerously sick. We have administered to him and nursed him up. Bro Brough came with him and has not gone back yet. We are grateful to our heavenly Father to be able to report a change in Bro Criddle for the better. He is doing well. The climate does not seem to suit him. It does seem such a pity. He is a most excellent young man and a good missionary. We have a strike on in Liverpool the consequence is the Guion Line has not been running
