and 7 Public Letters I went to the Theater & farm 6 m[iles]
Keys crossed A single key with teeth to the right We ordained Joseph Horn & Joseph Harker Patriarchs
G. Q. Cannon ordained Joseph Horn, & Joseph F. Smith
ordained Joseph Harker. I laid on hands with them

Letter from William Wallace Cluff, 18 March 1890

Prest Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother, The inclosed letter from Bp Stephen Walker of the Peoa Ward, in regard to Elder Pearson who has received a notice to go on a mission has just been received and I wish to submit the matter for your consideration and adv- ice before answering the letter. I have some knowledge of the case, and beleive it is just as stated by Bp Walker. Awaiting your advice in this case I remain Your brother in the Gospel W W Cluff

Salt Lake City, U. T. Wm Atkin Dear Brother Your letter of Feb 22 is before me And in Reply concerning the piping I find there is in the Bill sent 1440 feet of 1 1/2 inch pipe And there is 1020 inchfeet of 2 inch pipe Ottenger being [acquired] & [directing] in Hydrolics through that 1 1/2 inch pipe would Discharge as much water at the Temple as 6 x 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 x & 2 1/2 inch would bring that Distance the only thing that I see we can do is to supply the 1440 feet of 1 1/2 inch pipe with the same amount of 2 inch of course we would have to send East for this which would take some time to get it to St George

Salt Lake City, Utah, . President Wilford Woodruff and Council. Dear Brethren: The enclosed letter was received this morning, which we respectfully submit for your consideration. Elba is an isolated settlement in the Cassia Stake. They have no market for their produce, and we cannot bring it here. Being acquainted with their situation and circumstances recommend that their prayer be granted. Your Brethren in the Gospel. Wm B Preston John R Winder Granted $63397 Produce & Stock tithing
