Your letter of Feb 17 [18]90 to hand in reply will say I do not see how I can go on a mission at present as I am somewhat in debt and have to work daily for the support of myself and family. Wilford Woodruff Dear Bro About one year ago I received a call from you to take a mission to preach the Gospel but owing to circumstances at that time I was released; to report myself when ready; I think I can be ready to go in about thirty days if necscessary; you will please advise me acordingly as soomn as convenient and Oblige Your Brother in well doing Wm A. Pleasant Grove President Woodruff Dear Brother Your extreamly esteemed and kind favor Received for Which Please accept our most hearty and sencre thanks I feel thankfull beyond what any Language can Express I think to be able now to try to turn something up if possable so as not to be compeled to be such a burthen, and Shall be exceedly pleased should somthing present itself suitable for me to so help myslf and thank you and the Bretheren of The first peside- ncy again for the pains you^ve^ token in our case.
