Mount Pleasant Pres Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother I Received your letter on the third of this month But have had no chance to see my Bishop untill yesterday. I can say that I feel well, and with regard to the call made of me to fill a missoion to the Southern States I regret that my sircumstances are not in shape for me to leave at so earley a date I am considerable in debt at preasant and have a good deal of other buisnes that stands unsettled But if I can be released for one year I will stand in Readyness to go and Do that that which god requires of me and I hope and pray that Durind [During] this period of time that

Dear Brethrene, As the Bishopric of this little ward: and as Such we naturally have a deep Intrest and great anxity in the Spiritual and temporal-Progress of the People of this ward, and we will now lay before yourself & Counselors some few Intems that will explain Our condition. Our little place as you are Aware was first Settled in the Year's of 59 & 60 and in the corse of a few Years President B. Young, asked the people of our ward to grant the priviledge to some few families located in Adamsville to use aboute 50 acres of water right, which was done by Our people; altho in doing so we ware but Short, in the course of a few Years time several other families located
