13 I went to the Gardo & Signed 4 Recommends
I received 7 Letters

An arrow I received word that My son David had broke
his thigh 6 inches below the hip Joint by the Kick of a
A hand pointing to the right horse I wrote 4 letters to David sent $20 to Sarah $10
to Newton [FIGURE] we had a fire to day burned Hooper &
Eldridge Buildings burned Loss $85000 dollar insured
about half we held Meeting with 27 of the Brethren
upon the subject of our affairs at Washington

Logan, Prest. Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother About 3 Weeks ago I sent you a letter desiring that you would grant me the privilege of using a certain amount of tithing about $40000 to be cridited to Brethren laboring on our New Meeting House. particu- lars of which I stated in my letter written about the above time. But thinking that perhaps it has got mislaid I take the privilege of writing again. We have commen- ced to be ^build^ a much needed Meeting House in our Ward the Brethren have labored faithfully, we have nearly completed the exterior part of it which has cost $2,50000 and we think it will cost between 4 and $500000 when completed hoping to hear from you soon Your Bro. in the Gospel Robert Davidson Bp 3rd Ward
