Circular to the Officers and Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 31 October 1891
Salt Lake City, . TO THE OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS: Dear Brethren and Sisters.—Permit us to draw your attention to the accompanying Circular of The Deseret News Company. Its suggestions and requests meet with our unqualified approval. It would afford us much pleasure to learn of its increasing circulation, and that it finds a place in the home of every Latter-day Saint. The Desert News is the journal through which the Authorities of the Church, when they have aught to say to the Saints in this way, communicate their views and wishes; and, occupying this position, it should be read by all the officers and members of the Church who desire to keep themselves advised, as all should, of the instructions and counsels of the First Presidency and their asso- ciates. With kindest regards, we remain, Your Brethren, Wilford Woodruff Geo. Q. Cannon Jos. F. Smith
