Mexico . President W. Woodruff, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear Brother: Our two days Conference at Juarez on the 21st and 22nd of November was exceedingly well attended from all the Wards and we had a very interesting and profitable time. Through some misunder standing the meeting of the young people for Friday evening was missed, which caused us to have more to do than we should have done on Saturday & Sunday. We met on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Singing & prayer Elder Jas. Martineau singing anthem Elder Geo. Teasdale presiding made opening remarks. Spoke upon the principle of punctuality and called upon the Bishops to report their Wards. Bishops Jesse N. Smith, of Pacheco, Geo. W. Sevey of Juarez, Winslow Farr, of Dublan, and Counsellor Jos. H. James, of Diaz, reported their Wards. Spiritual condition generally good, financial condition poor; crops a failure through drouth. A new shool house was being built in Dublan, and at Diaz two rooms were being added; an addition to the School House had been completed and dedicated, ^at Pacheco.^ The organizations and Relief Societies, Sabbath and day schools all in good running order.
