Letter from Benjamin Cluff Jr., 12 December 1891
Provo City, Utah, .
President Wilford Woodruff,
Salt Lake City, Utah:
Dear Brother:
Last summer
we organized in connection with the Academy
a Summer Normal School, a session of which
we desire to have during vacation in 1892, and
of course we want to obtain the very best talent
our means will allow. After consulting with
some of the authorities, I wrote to Col. F. W.
Parker of the Cook Co. Normal School, Ill., an
educator of national reputation, his answer
I enclose.
If there is no objection on the part of
the Presidency, we would like to engage Col.
Parker and wife for one week.
Awaiting your early reply,
I remain,
Very Respectfully,
B. Cluff, Jr.
