Dear Bro:
I am under the painful necessity
of making application for assistance, pre-
paratory to my going to the Southern States
to be absent three or four months.
Have tried in every conceivable way
to keep from troubling you, as I partialy
understand your financial embarassment, but
have for the present reached the end of the
rope. Anything you can do will be fully
appreciated.
