Prest. Wilford Woodruff. Salt Lake City Utah U.S.A. Dear Brother I think it was about July 24th I wrote you of an opportunity I had to save the church 25% or more on a part of their Land payment which falls due next May by paying all that is due on the South half of the tract formerly purchased of the Ry. Bp. Preston Instructed me to sell the Church herd here last spring but I could not do it until the expiration of the Leese to BPilling & Sons next Nov, I will here state there is no chance to sell the breeding stock at all at saving figures but I think there is enough steers from 1 to 3 yrs old I can sell for, 17, 25 and $3500 each to meet the amt on land & I will do so if you so direct, but you should answer at once if you approve by wire & state sell steers.
