I have an opportunity to
sell my paper, The Nebraska Populist,
(sample copy in this mail). Will you
kindly inform me at your earliest
convenience what inducements, if any,
will your people offer to the right
parties to establish a real live
daily paper in your city, providing
you have the privilege of controlling
its policy on all matters affecting the
interests of your people.
My associates are two of the ablest
writers as well as all-around news-
paper men in Nebraska, and when
the question of statehood arises, we
can do you more good than perhaps
