Dear Brother I regret wou very much the necessity of writing this letter, to inform you that I am not able to leave Salt Lake City the 21st for a mission to Indian Terr. on the account of sudden and severe illness, but desire that I may go as soon as able. Smith Dear Brethren Would you as President and Directors of Z.C.M.I. entertain any proposition leading to an exchange of my Mdse & Reality interests in Salt Lake for yours in Logan and your paper at 6% interest sufficient to pay my liabilities and balance in stock in your institution and I entered your services if you desired them.
