22 In Company with my two councillors I went
to Ogden & held a Meeting with the Board of the
Ogden water power company & Entered into a
contract with Mr George Perbeck the second part
As our financeer Agent to raise $1,200,000 dollars
to Esstablish the water power company we then
returned home distance 80 Miles

Ogden, Utah, President Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear Brother: I desire to ask a little advice from you in regard to looking up a new location for myself and family, and havinge been considering the advisability of taking a trip to the Payette country in Idaho where I have heard that there is plenty of good land and water, and that the climate is somewhat milder than Utah.
