President Woodruff and Counsellors,
Dear Bre: I have been laboring
among the surrounding mexicans since
my last letter to P. Joseph F. Smith,
where I gave him an account of my
labors till that date. After a great
deal of labor I have make a litle
opening in a town called S. Jose
10 miles from here among some
protestants mexicans; the rest of
them mostly catholics are entirely
indifirent if not opose to our religion
and people; and it take all that
I can do to convince them of the
good feeling of our comunity to them
this feeling having reach some time
a point that have brought them into
a regular fight of races. There are
so many mexicans and I have so
much to do with them that
