Pres Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother I received a call to take a mission to the Southren States some year ago on account of my Fathers Estate I being the Administrator of the Estate was counciled to wait untill it was settled. We have Just closed it out, so I can say I am redy to go and do the best I can with the help of the Lord to spred the Gospel to the nations of earth. Letter from Erastus Kruse Fillerup, 4 January 1895

Lake View. . First Presidency, Dear Brethern: I have received your letter of inquiry as to my feelings and circumstances in filling a mission to the Southern States. I am willing to fill the mission, but would prefer to wait untill June. I am attending School at the B. Y. A., Provo; and will graduate there in May, if every thing goes well. This is my fourth year of attendance at that school, and would much prefer to wait untill after my graduation. Father is at present on a mission in Europe, and we are a little closely run for the ready cash

Telegram from William Thomas Stewart, 4 January 1895

Received at Presiden't Office, Salt Lake City, at 2:37 Pm Dated, Kanab. 4. To Prest. W Woodruff, Our Maori brother here has taken a one-fourth interest in a mercantile institution here, capital stock of which is thirty-Seven hundred dollars, has paid two hundred and fifty dollars down and given note for balance. The two hundred and fifty dollars paid, is all he has in this country besides his home. W. T. Stewart. LINES TO ALL PRINCIPAL POINTS IN UTAH, PIOCHE, NEVADA, AND PARIS, IDAHO.
