5 A vary busy Day Judge M Toll & John W Barrows
from Denver who are visiting us to Examine
our securities on a Lone, they spent the day with
us. We also met with Brother Smith & Langford
about our Affairs in Nevada I received a Letter
^ A folded letter/box A hand pointing to the right^ from Owen & I wrote him a Letter I also wrote
Sarah & Mary a Letter I met in the Morning with
the Board of the Deserett National

Mr. Agent get the Lawyer for 7.50 agent Sey now Mr. Carr, you pay him sevin fifty I will loos The Other an you pay me $25.00 downe I Will take a mortgage fore 60 days $5500 now it will be due The 10 of this month I have got to dig it up or my head is off.
