March 25, 1895 ~ Monday

25 I rode to the Fish Car [Culture?] at the D. & R. G and
Exhamined the 2000000 white fish Eggs from
Lake Erie they were just beginning to Hatch they
were in the care of A M Musser who was going
with ^them^ to the Lake as they Hatched out. I then rode
to the Office & held a Meeting with J. F Smith
& Winder & Ogden Company upon the commen[cin]g
of building the water poipe to Ogden I received a
^[FIGURES]^ Letter from Owen & sent him one from Father & Mother

Presedent Woodruff. Dear Sir, I hope you will excuse me for taking the liberty of addressing you. I have a brother in Utah he went there some five years ago. He sent a letter to his mother but it got mislaid somewhere and we lost his address and as he belongs to the Momon Church. I can say that I esteem it an honor of which any latter-day-saint may feel proud, and if the Lord continues His blessings unto me in the future as I know He has in the past, I will endeavor to be a faithful and energetic servant in promolgating the Everlasting Gospel.
