President Wilford Woodruff. Dear Brother: I sent you the papers yesterday removing Moses Thatcher and George W. Thatcher from the office of Trustees of the Brigham Young College and appointing in their stead Mariner W. Merrill and William H. Lewis; also a form of letter to be sent to these parties, informing them of the removal. I enclose herewith form of letters to be sent by Brother Mer- rill and Brother Lewis to Moses Thatcher and George Thatcher, requesting them to execute the accompanying deeds of their interest in the College property.
