Thurs Jan 56th drove to the office, attended my meeting at the Temple at 1130 am
until 230 pm. Bro Nuttall arranged for Madam Mountford & 2 fri[e]nds to ride to the
several places of note in the city. Bro McHenry took them. left for home at 430 pm

Payson, Utah, Prest. Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake, Utah Dear Brother Myself and bro. Henry E. Gardener had thought to take a few week's trip through the southern part of the state to see the country, get acquainted with the people etc. As a means of carrying us over the country I had thought to fix up a lecture on the manners and customs of the Turkish people for which I have a number of costumes, musical instuments etc. that I brought home with me. We want to make ourselves agreable and useful and would be glad to do what we can in the interest of the Y.M.M.I. Association as we go along. Bro. Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City Dear Brother, We the undersigned, respectfully draw your attention to the fact that we on the outskirts of civilization are endeavouring to supply a greatly needed want in the shape of a Church School Building for the benefit of our children and our children's children, to the credit of the Church, and also as an earnest of our progress and permanency in our adopted state of Idaho.
