afterwards at the office, & went home at 3430 pm.

Salt Lake City, Utah. . Mr. Wilford Woodruff, President, Latter Day Saints Church, City. Dear Sir: Finding that there is considerable demand among the publishers of Utah and southern Idaho, for news pertaining particularly to the Latter Day Saints Church, we have decided to inaugurate a department containing this news, in connection with our superior Ready Print ser- vice. This news will be published in nearly all of the weekly papers in Utah and southern Idaho, and properly handled, should be of material benefit to the Church. We should be pleased to have you co-operate with us in making this department a meritous one, and such as you desire. We enclose herewith a list of the papers which we print, and which will contain this de- partment. Letter from Isaac Lester Wright, 27 January 1898
American Fork, Utah, . President Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear Brother: I am pleased with the op- portunity to preach the word of the Lord abroad. I realize to some extent the responsibility of such a mission, but never-the-less hope to be a zealous worker. I have one difficulty in going on the date you have mentioned, March 31st., and after counsel from Brother Brandley, I feel perfectly free to state it. I am teaching in the public school at Am. Fork and have signed a contract to teach until about the end of the school which will be about the first of June. The trustees think we will close on the twenty-seventh of May.
