August 25, 1898 ~ Thursday

Thur Aug 25th Received a letter from William and
Alice with the name Doloros. Mother and child
doing well. Weighed 7 lbs. Rec letter from Clara
& Vedi to day. We went on board the yacht Augusta
and rode 25 miles in 4 hours. It was about the finest
sea ride I ever had. The company went to the Theatre
except Clawson & myself. H. C stayed with me.
