15^th Wednesday I spent this day also the 16^th In preparing to
leave Scarborough.

November 17, 1848 ~ Friday

17^th I parted with Father Carter And Sister Foss And
their Families A with my family took cars And rode
to Boston then An omnibus And rode to Br A Badlams
No 1^st Washington Street Cambridgeport distance 120 m[iles]
On my return to Cambridgeport I recieved 5 letters fro[m]
the following persons 2 from Orson Pratt, 1 from John
Enions, Joseph Hall, W. I. Appleby, And one from W^m
Maxfield of Bedeque directed to Orson Spencer of Liverpo
And sent to me to Answer. I Also recieved 5 No of the
Star All bearing good news of the progress of the work
of the Lord in that place.

November 18, 1848 ~ Saturday

18^th I spent the day in Cambridgeport Boston And South
Boston looking for A House to rent

November 19, 1848 ~ Sunday

19^th Sunday I met with the Saints At Boydston Hall in
Boston I preached in the fore part of the day, And spoke in
the Afternoon And was followed by several of the brethrn
take it As A general whole we had a good meeting

November 20, 1848 ~ Monday

20^th We have had A tedious snow storm through the night
And fore part of this day Br Badlam And myself spent most
of the day in Boston geting furniture And sundry Articles
to furnish A House I had taken for my family in Cambridge-
port on the corner of Harvard And [blank]

November 21, 1848 ~ Tuesday

21^st We spent this day in getting home our furniture & sundry
Articles to keep house with

November 22, 1848 ~ Wednesday

22^nd Nov 1848 I moved my family into the House which I
Had rented of Mr [blank] McClure [blank] corner of
Harverd And Davis Street Cambridgeport for $112
A year

November 23, 1848 ~ Thursday

23rd I recieved three [letters] to day from the following persons
one from James Furguson, San Francisco, 1 from Joseph &
Hannah Hall, 1 from W^m Low fall River containing $5.

November 24, 1848 ~ Friday

24^th Brs Badlam & Page were in my house this morning
talking over their business matters

November 25, 1848 ~ Saturday

25^th I wrote 4 letter to O Pratt, W^m Maxfield
Little & Hardy, And W^m Low And mailed them in Boston
I Also sent W^m Maxfield one of the Epistles of the Twelve

November 26, 1848 ~ Sunday

26^th Sunday I preached to the Saints in Boston during
the day

November 27, 1848 ~ Monday

27^th I spent most of the day at home reading & writing

November 28, 1848 ~ Tuesday

28^th I wrote 4 letters to the following persons
Ezra Carter sen Ilus F Carter Thomas Cartwright And
W^m H. Wilson I Also sent An epistle to Br Wilson
