10^th I wrote 4 letters one to Br Player, one
to Clithero, to W^m Miller & G. Slator I sent 1 & 2
Numbers of the 6 vol of the Times & Seasons Star
to Ezra Carter, WA. Woodruff & B. Cossett 4 [miles]

July 11, 1845 ~ Friday

11^th I recieved 3 letters & wrote 3 to T Smith &
J Johnson, & James Houston 4 [miles]

July 12, 1845 ~ Saturday

12^th I wrote A peace for the Star 4 [miles]

July 13, 1845 ~ Sunday

13^th Sunday I spent the fore part of the day
writing the afternoon in council with Elder
Ward spoke of the necessity of union with us
And the position I occupy & relation I occupy
as president to the churches that I ought to be
acquainted with all business going on in relation
to printing Emigration tithing &c. In the even-
ing I preached to a large assembly of Saints
at the Music Hall 4 m[iles]

one from Elder P. P. Pratt one from I. F. Carter
I was glad to hear from Both I wrote a peace
for the Star. I aranged Br Taylors Times &
Seasons on the shelves today

was the great Horse race which will last 3 days 6 [miles]

Elder Hardy dined with me to day on salmon
