we rode in carriages to the terminus of the western Rail Road
we then took cars & rode to S L City 40 Miles

On my return home I learned that my team had had a rum-
away at the farm & broke my waggon some, had a new
Tongue to buy & mend up

I wrote a letter to J. E. Johnson

July 28, 1875 ~ Wednesday

July 28, 1875 I spent the day in the Endowment House we Baptized
255 person for the dead D H Wells sealed 23, W Woodruff 40.

July 29, 1875 ~ Thursday

29. I reaped & bound wheat

July 30, 1875 ~ Friday

30 I opened & Extracted Honey from 9 swams of Bees in the
forenoon & Bound Barley in the afternoon

July 31, 1875 ~ Saturday

31. In company with the Twelve and others I took cars rode to
Provo to hold a 2 days Meeting Met at the Bowery at 10 oclok prayer

Monday 2nd Mrs Woodruff was taken deadly sick. Our Daughter
Bulah whas been vary sick for 48 hours I spent the day with the sick
