at night the weather is vary hot & dry & much grain

18th I went into the field spent the fore part of the day
pulling weeds the afternoon in the office

& county tax $46.98. Paid city tax 23.50

20th I commenced watering land at 6 oclok in the big field &
worked hard for 24 hours through the day & night I was vary
weary in the morning
