May 19, 1846 ~ Tuesday

19th I crossed the river to Montrose And
Had An interview with A company of Saints
from Pennsylvania among whom was Br Luts
Joseph Sidwell Brother Malin & others
Br Sidwell let Br Hyde have $700 dollars
for the camp $100 for Himself & $100
for me I again returned to Nauvoo
aranged some business saw Mother Woodruff
Dwight & Eunice Mother Smith & others
together they were some of them Advocating
the cause of Strang some unplesant
feelings were manifest upon the subject
I parted with Dwight & Eunice perhaps
for the last time & again crossed the river
And rode to the camp distance 20 mile
