On the st I met with the Saints at the house of Brother Wm Maxfield for the purpose of ^re^organizing the Bedeque Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Conference opened by singing and prayer and after remarks from W Woodruff, President, on the importance of the ^re^organization of the Branch it was moved and carried that Bro Wm ^Maxfield^ be ordained to the office of Elder to preside over it and John Maxfield to the office of Priest and they were ordained under the hands of Elders Woodruff and Russell. During this conference I spoke 3 hours or more upon the travels of the Pioneers location of the Saints in the Valley gave counsel to the members
